Better Health Checks?

Health Checks should always be initiated by the load balancer - but they can be configured to use the backend appliance (e.g. Palo Alto or Barracuda) as the source. This allows the health check to address both - downtime of appliance (e.g. Palo Alto)  itself as well as downtime of the backend service that the appliance is serving. This is a better health check as it covers the health of the backend for the LB as well as the backend for the appliance.
